I put in a lot of time scouting and searching for the best locations for my Greenville area photography sessions. Oftentimes, there are certain special locations that are gorgeous in certain seasons. This is definitely true of this peach tree orchard! I love this location so much that I offer speciality minis there for the bloom every year.
When do the Peach Bloom Minis Happen?
The exact date of peach bloom minis depends on the weather and that year’s crop. I keep in touch with the orchards owners who can predict the timing of the blooms. The tricky part is that blooms are very brief, leaving a two week window of time for portraits. While the exact date varies from year to year, the peach bloom minis normally take place in late February to early March.
Where do These Peach Bloom Minis Take Place?
The peach orchard is located just north of Greenville in the Greer area on a private orchard. The orchard owners graciously arrange a day for me to have a permit and permission to use the property. I love this property because its very large, with so many rows of gorgeous blooms. There are no crowds to fight and typically my clients and I are the only people on the property. As an added bonus, parking is a breeze and you only have to walk a few steps from your car door to be at our shooting spot.
(On a side note, please don’t ever try to take portraits on private property without permission! Keep in mind not only is it private property, but it is a working orchard and family business.)
What is a Mini Session Like?
Minis are 15 minutes long. I’ve been photographing families for over 11 years, so I can get an amazing variety of portraits even during this short time frame! You can expect a gallery with about 20-30 images to select from.
Can I book a Full Private Session Here?
Would you prefer a full service experience with longer session time? My normal full sessions can be booked here during the bloom time as well!
