Greenville First Birthday Portraits & Grandmillenial Nursery Inspo

I’ve been photographing this sweet family for years, and had the honor of documenting sweet Charlotte’s newborn session last year. When I returned for her Greenville first birthday portraits, I was immediately impressed by the design details added to her nursery! This sweet nursery has the best Grandmillenial vibes. We began our session in her nursery and ended with a fun cake smash outdoors.

I love photographing families in their homes because it creates a truly unique setup for every family! I love including the personalized elements of photos taken in your own space. This beautiful nursery deserved to be included in the portraits! The pink latice work on the walls make a huge impact. I loved the incorporation of soft green in the curtain fabric too.

The personal touches of framed newborn portraits were around the room. Above the antique dresser are three framed custom illustrations by Pretty Festive of the family’s three children!

Greenville Family Portraits

While the focus of this session was little Charlotte, we always include the whole family! We began in the nursery. Notice how the family’s outfits were a watercolor palate of pink, green, and blue to blend with the room! Little Charlotte wore a specially made dress by Elizabeth Layne Heirloom. The hand-stitched design was a one of a kind design by Pretty Festive. It included her birthday and brothers!

First Birthday Cake Smash

Next, we went outside for a few more Greenville family photos and a little cake smash! Charlotte changed into the most precious bib and bloomers by Elizabeth Layne Heirloom to enjoy her cake.
