As a photographer who specializes in Greenville Children’s portraits, I have many families who schedule sessions for their children to wear heirloom dresses. For this particular session, we decided to take these portraits outdoors in a natural setting. I also provide classic Greenville heirloom photography with white backgrounds and vignetted portraits. Portraits wearing an Heirloom Dress is a Southern Tradition

Classic southern children’s clothing hasn’t changed much through the years. These timeless staples are often handmade specialty dresses. Many families have the tradition of passing these clothes down and taking Greenville children’s portraits for each generation as they don the dress.

Greenville Children’s Portraits for Harper

The dress worn by sweet Harper in these portraits was made by her grandmother. The lace detailing is beautiful and it was even featured in a magazine! This particular dress has been passed through the female family members and she is the fourth girl to wear the dress. We scheduled portraits to specially document her in this heirloom dress that is so meaningful to the females in her family.
