The Rock Quarry Garden is a favorite amongst Greenville SC Photographers, and I think it’s easy to see why! Open grass, flowering bushes and trees, and water cascading over rock faces provides beauty in every direction.

Family portraits are on of those things that grow more valuable over time. And while I know it’s probably hard enough coordinating photos for your own immediate family, it is such a blessing to involve grandparents in family photos!  When I think back on my own childhood, so many wonderful memories are tied to my grandparents. So while these portraits may be a gift to the grandparents right now, in years to come, they will be cherished by the grandchildren!

For this family session we met at the Rock Quarry Garden one weekday morning in Greenville.  This location offers so many unique backdrops.  We were lucky that we hit the peak azalea bloom too!  We walked throughout the garden to utilize the beautiful features.  I highly recommend scheduling family photos on a weekday morning.  This will ensure less crowds.  It’s also an opportunity to make the whole experience and extra fun and special activity for the children of your family! Extra time with mom and day on a weekday morning can make a portrait experience even more special.
