This Greenville SC newborn photography session was done in the home of a sweet membership family! We began their membership with the birth of their daughter with her newborn session. A year later we celebrated her first birthday with portrait session. You can see her adorable first birthday portraits here! This birthday session took a surprise twist by also doubling as a maternity session! We were all a surprised to find out their final membership session would be for newborn portraits of her baby brother! It has been such a joy watching this family grow by two children.

What Makes Greenville In Home Newborn Photography Special?

In home newborn photography allows each session to be completely one of a kind and customized to document your special family memories. When your newborn session takes place in your home, we get to include the nursery that was lovingly prepared to welcome your little one home! One of the most unique features of this nursery is the custom working train track around the top of the room. There is even a covered bridge section directly above the crib. It was such a unique touch that will be so much fun for Charles as he grows!

How to Include Toddler Siblings During a Greenville Newborn Session

I love making toddler siblings feel extra special during a newborn session. Adding a new baby to the family can be both exciting and confusing for toddlers! I always advise parent to keep the photo session positive for toddlers. I give the toddlers extra special attention and enlist them to be a helper for me. I constantly praise them and tell them what an amazing brother or sister they are being. And of course, I never expect perfection. Instead I focus on keeping it fun and enjoyable!

Including a Dog in Your Greenville Newborn Portraits

When you have your newborn portraits taken at home, it’s the perfect opportunity to include your family pet! As long as your dog is safe and comfortable with newcomers (that would be me!) and your children, it’s a great idea to include them. Often times dogs naturally make their way in the room and lay at your feet so I don’t even have to pose or direct them.
