In most newborn sessions, we shoot in the nursery and one more location, often a master bedroom. But this home had room after room of gorgeous natural light, so we moved all around the house, working with the curved windows and built in window seat! Conducting a newborn session in the comfort of your own home has countless pros. First, you can easily include your pets! I typically don’t direct dogs very much, but just let them comfortably roam in and out of the frame. Most dogs follow their owners, and just naturally end up in some shots. Another pro of in home newborn photographer is that you don’t have to pack up alllll the things for your baby. Everything you could possibly need is there. You also can easily access your entire wardrobe, which is a wonderful if you have more than one outfit you want to include! After shooting in clients’ homes for over 9 years, I’m equipped to handle the lighting in any home….I’ve even shot in a windowless nursery before so I’m prepared to serve clients in any Greenville in home newborn photography session.
