Whitney & Forrest | Engagement Session in Downtown Dublin & The Barn at Acorn Ridge

I had the honor of traveling to my hometown of Dublin, Georgia, to photograph these two, and it was a dream! The forecast called for thunderstorms and rain all weekend, so we were ready and adjusted our schedule to squeeze in our session before the rain. Despite the cloudy skies and running for cover from a little drizzle, we were able to get some dreamy photos. We began our session in downtown Dublin by the historical Carnegie Library and recently renovated theater. I’m so impressed by all the revitalization efforts to restore and show off the beauty of my hometown! The downtown area offers a variety of beautiful backdrops for portraits. After exploring downtown we completed our session at The Barn at Acorn Ridge, a new wedding venue that’s only a short drive from downtown. It offers gorgeous views of the horizon, mature trees, and (of course) the beautiful barn where weddings and events are held.
