Why you should hire a Greenville full service newborn photographer:
You hire a photographer, plan out your outfits, and survive through a session with young children. You get gorgeous images that you share online and put on a newborn announcement or Christmas card. But then what? What happens to those images?
You may keep telling yourself you will eventually wade through them and create a baby album to have as a keepsake for your newborn. But the days are busy and you are tired. You will just wait until he or she is older and you have the time to find a service you like and figure out which images to add to an album.
Once your baby is a bit older, and you are finally getting more sleep, you think, “I can FINALLY make that newborn album!” But it’s also time for 1st birthday photos, and your baby is getting more and more active. Now you have even more images and less time to take care of creating an album. And let’s face it, it’s really hard to narrow it down and figure out which images to put in the album.
Now you are just overwhelmed and the family milestone keep coming and you are left with mounds of gorgeous photos that you paid a professional for, but can’t get them off your online gallery. As a busy mother your time is too valuable to be spent spinning your wheels. So what is the best answer to this problem? Don’t do it yourself, let your photographer do it!
A full service photographer walks clients through the entire photography experience. This means from planning through delivering the final products. You get a higher level of service in every aspect of your photography experince. A full service photographer aids you in creating a vision for your session, implementing that vision during the session, and them creating professional quality prints and products from those images. A full service photographer has expertise in the best products and how to prep and create those products from your images.
When a client books with me, we begin with a planning call. I get to hear about what you want most from your session. We talk about everything from what to wear to your family dynamics and what is most important to you in photos. I have you think about how you would like to enjoy your photos AFTER the session. Would you like a newborn album to pass down to your child? Do you need matching grandparents albums for those doting grandparents? Do you have a blank wall where you want a framed family portrait?
By knowing all this information I can provide the best possible results during our in home newborn session. Then after the session we schedule a viewing appointment. Most clients opt to do this via zoom so they can do it from the comfort of their home. I show clients their final edited images and then we decide how they want to enjoy those images. I design any products selected and get full approval from my clients. Lastly I do a quality control check on every product and deliver the products to my clients’ doorstep! This is a complete photography experience by a Greenville full service newborn photographer that doesn’t leave you with a to-do list!
My wonderful clients featured in the images in this blog post knew they wanted an album to pass down to their daughter, as well as a frame for the nursery. Together I helped them narrow down their favorite 20 images that told a beautiful story of their newborn session to go in an album. Then I took a photo of the wall where the frame was going to go and used my software to show the family mockups of different sized frames. Having this visual aid is SO helpful in making design decisions! We settled on a 14×14 print framed in a gold frame with a 3 inch mat.
I would love to take the burden of designing products off of you. If you are interested in a full service Greenville area in home newborn session, you can contact me here. Come follow along on Instagram to get to know me better!
