Family Photography in Greenville SC

I serve clients with family photography in Greenville, SC.  This session took place in the Janie E Furman Rose Garden on Furman’s campus. The roses weren’t blooming yet, but we had the beautiful glowing light for these portraits! Six years have passed since I photographed this family and it was wild seeing how much these boys have grown.

During our session we focused on the special relationship between the amazing sons.  The goal of every session is keeping it relaxed and true to the personalities within the family.  With this in mind, I made sure the boys had a say in our portraits and kept them laughing through the session.

As a part of my process, I schedule a planning call with my clients.  This is a time for us to talk through the location, the moments that are most important to capture, wardrobe, and how they want to display and use the photos after the session. This family had frames in their dining room they wanted to update.  So as a part of the process we selected and sized the exact prints they wanted to add to their frames.

I love the blue outfits selected by the family.  The color stood out agains the greenery in our backdrop perfectly.
