As a Greenville, SC Family photographer, I love getting to watch babies like Elizabeth grow! I photographed her big sister Caroline’s first year of life (and all the years since then) and now I have the honor of capturing the milestones of her little sister. That first year of life includes so much rapid growth and change, and it is so important to document it all! Because sessions are more frequent during your baby’s first year, I offer a special membership for families who want to document it all. Today I’m sharing a few favorites from Elizabeths 6 month milestone session, and a few reasons why you should book a first year membership!

Why You Should Book a First Year Membership:

1. Discounts

Once families join the membership, they get 20% off at each ordering appointment following each session. Membership clients will also get priority book to any special events, such as heirloom photos, minis, and Santa sessions (which I plan to bring to the Upstate this year!)

2. An Album of the Whole First Year

One of the best parts is that we can build a first year album as we go. After every session, we have an ordering appointment where we select your favorites images. We can select a few images from each session and begin designing your album. By the end of our membership, you will have a complete album documenting your baby’s big moments and milestones throughout their photo membership. This means an heirloom, excellent quality album that will last as it’s passed down for generations! No more worrying about keeping up with a baby book!

3. Continuity in Relationships and the Final Product

One of the best ways to ensure you get photos you love is by building a great relationship with a photographer. Your children will become familiar with me throughout our time together. I always try to keep the mood light and positive, so that they see the portrait experience as a fun game! This way they will look forward to sessions and their true personalities can shine. In addition to this important relationship part of the experience, you want photos with a consistent style so that the entire first year portraits fit together well. If you bounce around to different photographers, you will end up with a hodge podge of styles and final products. The first year membership allows for a streamlined, cohesive experience and product.

You are always welcome to include the whole family in every milestone session, so you can also have updated family portraits and a few shots of your other children too!

My First Year Memberships can range from 2-6 sessions over an 18 month period. The most popular milestones for memberships are maternity, newborn, 6 months, and first year.
