Ever since we were married, my husband and I have never lived in town with family. We have family stretched across the state of Georgia, and even some in Tennessee. We have remained close to everyone, but the older we get (and the more kids we have) it has gotten harder to get everyone together at once! This family has the same situation, and after moving and being apart for a long time, they finally all gathered together to celebrate the first birthday of one of their sweet boys. Since it’s so rare to have everyone together, they decided to commemorate this time by inviting me to take extended family photos.

Making the time and effort to document memories with all your family is so worth the effort! My advice for coordinating outfits for such a large group is to go with neutrals.
