Today is quite a different post from my normal stream of families and newborns. I was so honored to be the photographer for Chamberlynn and Andrew’s wedding. Their whole day took place at the historic Callanwolde Fine Arts Center in Atlanta. The day started with the bride and bridesmaids getting dressed upstairs while the groomsman spent time in a downstairs study. The bride chose the landing of the grand staircase as the location for the first look where the couple was framed by the large stained glass windows. Although it was raining, these two have been well acquainted with making adjustments to our plans after planning an entire wedding in the year of 2020. So we adjusted our portrait locations from outdoors to around the beautiful interior of the house.
The events of the evening kicked off at 5:00 with a welcoming cocktail hour for guests to enjoy appetizers before the ceremony. Chamberlynn and Andrew were able to greet their guests before returning upstairs to change into their wedding attire. Chamberlynn entered the ceremony via the grand staircase, where her father met her to walk her down the aisle. After the ceremony guests were welcomed into the enclosed courtyard that was adorned with tables flanked with gold chairs and pink accents throughout. Once the wedding party entered, the bride and groom enjoyed their first dance as well as the father/daughter and mother/son dance. The bride’s parents greeted their guests with a welcoming toast before guest were served dinner. After dinner were toasts, dancing, and a large downpour that had us move the couple’s exit indoors! The day was beautiful in every way!
