When Chamberlynn and I started planning this engagement session for her and Andrew, a shot on Jackson Street Bridge was one of her first requests. While I’ve seen many take photos here, I have never visited the bridge myself in the 6 years that I’ve lived in the North Atlanta area! Thanks to the suffocating August heat in Georgia, we planned for a sunrise session to beat the heat of the day. We arrived at the bridge before the sun was up and all was dark, but as the sun began to rise, we got the prettiest pastel pink tones to grab a few iconic shots in front of the Atlanta skyline!
After our time at the bridge, we headed over to Cator Woolford Gardens for the rest of our shoot. The gardens always give such a magical feel to photos, and this particular morning there was a mist hanging in the air to add a little more magic! Andrew and Chamberlynn were naturals in front of the camera. I love how special and unique the ring is, it was handpicked by Andrew and is stunning. As you can tell by viewing my usual blogs, I don’t shoot weddings often. I carefully protect my weekends for my family, and only take on the occasional wedding if it’s the perfect fit and situation, and I am so honored to be able to serve this beautiful couple. Their wedding day is planned on the perfect date, 10/10/20, and I can’t wait to capture their big day!
