Sunflower Photos Cumming, Georgia | 3 Oaks Farm and Events

I have been wanting to do photo sessions at a sunflower field for years now. However every year I put it off, because most farms in the Cumming, Georgia, area are extremely busy, muddy, and overcrowded, making for a not so enjoyable experience. That’s when I stumbled on a new farm and event venue, 3 Oaks Farm and Events. This beautiful farm is tucked away in Cumming, and it a joy to visit. The owners are the kindest people, and have carefully created a space that provides an enjoyable experience for everyone! The best part is that they give photographers the space and time to take beautiful portraits.

Every year, I take my children’s portraits for their birthday to commemorate their age. Since Emmy Kate’s 5th birthday is next week, she and I went to the farm to take her yearly portraits with the sunflowers, and we had the best time together. Our time there inspired me to start offering sunflower sessions in Cumming, Georgia, to my clients every July!  For these sessions I recommend light and airy sundresses moms and daughters, summer bubbles and sunsuits for babies, shorts and and short sleeve button ups for dads and sons, and (like Emmy Kate) don’t be afraid to bring along your favorite sunhat for more fun!
