Home Sweet Home Session | Atlanta Family Photographer

One of my favorite parts of photographing families is getting know the children of old friends. Brittany and I grew up in the small town of Dublin and I have known her lovely family for as long as I can remember! Luckily we are now both in the Atlanta area and I am able to see her again as her family photographer. Less than two years ago I had the honor of photographing her first sweet baby’s newborn session, and we had plans to document the same for his baby brother….that is until a little pandemic messed with our plans! Thankfully, now that our state is slowly opening back up, we were able to come up with a safe option to document this time for the family of four. We transitioned our newborn session into a Home Sweet Home Mini, where I could safely photograph these sweet boys outdoors, in their own yard, while being able to keep a distance. The hardest part by far is not giving tickles and hugs, but I’m so thankful that I can continue photographing families in a safe environment for them.

These Home Sweet Home Minis are a special offering that will continue just for the summer of 2020 to meet the needs of families as we all try to stay safe and navigate Covid-19. These twenty minute sessions occur in the safety of your own yard. I’ve discovered that this is such an easy and wonderful option for young children, because they feel so comfortable in their own familiar environment! It’s such a special and sweet way to document the place where they grow up, and I know they will cherish these memories of their family home when they are adults.
