Atlanta Family Session | Piedmont Park

 

Piedmont Park in the fall with the Vincent family has become one of my favorite traditions! I’ve been photographing this family since the first year I dared to have enough courage to call myself a photographer. (And they have been so encouraging and gracious to me every step of my journey.) This marks year 6 of this tradition. Allyson and I grew up together in our small hometown of Dublin, and have known each other for as long as I can remember. We both ended up in the Atlanta area, and I had the honor of reconnecting with her when I started my photography business.

Six years ago I met Michael, Allyson, and their two pups, Oliver and Lolly in Piedmont Park to take some fall family portraits. Since then, they welcomed twins, said goodbye to their lovable dog Oliver, and welcomed their youngest son, John Micheal. That’s six years of fall family portraits, two newborn sessions, and a tradition of grabbing the same shot by the water. I cannot begin to say how thankful I am for these guys! It’s such an honor to watch families grow and change, and its such a joy watching the wonderful little people their children are turning out to be!
